For associations & districts

One district, one shared picture

Whether you are a district hunting association, a district farmers’ association, a rescue group or a district authority: fund the platform for your district — associations, farmers and volunteers use it free of charge, and you get verifiable figures on wildlife protection in your district.

Your benefits

Wildlife protection across the district — proven, not estimated

When an association — the district hunting association, the district farmers’ association or a rescue group — or the district authority funds the platform, every association, farmer and helper in the district uses it free of charge — and for the first time you get reliable figures.

Figures for members and funders

Fawns rescued, hectares checked, operations and active helpers — as a report for the general meeting, funders, the district council and the press, always up to date.

The whole district on one map

Instead of isolated solutions per association: one overview across all municipalities — where mowing is happening, where helpers are short, where drones are in use.

Put funded drones to good use

The drones from the federal programme are there — the coordination is missing. WildRescue brings pilots, fields and dates together, across the district rather than within each association.

One point of contact instead of many contracts

One licence, one contract, one annual invoice — associations, hunters, farmers and helpers in the district are all included. If several associations fund the platform together, one of them signs the contract and they share the cost among themselves.

A rollout that sticks

We set up the district, train associations and boards and support the first season — so the platform doesn’t go unused.

GDPR and servers in Germany

Operated in Germany, minimal data, data processing agreement and deletion policy — ready for review by data protection officers.

Your money reaches the rescuers

Travel costs and allowances per operation, with an annual budget and traffic light. At the end of the season a SEPA bulk transfer and a DATEV posting batch — traceable for the board and the auditors.

Rescue days instead of single trips

Rescue days per municipality bundle the mowings. Farmers see when rescuers are around as they report — fewer trips, more meadow searched.

See how mowing is reported

How short-notice reports are, how often they are postponed, how quickly fawns are free again — only as a total for the area, never per farm.

How it works

How the district gets onto the platform

From the first conversation to a running season — we support every step.

  1. Step 1

    Presentation

We present the platform to the board of the district hunting association, the district farmers’ association, a rescue group or a district committee — with figures from real-world use.

  2. Step 2

    Quote

You receive a written quote with the annual price for the district — suitable for a board resolution, a funding application or budget planning.

  3. Step 3

    Setup

We set up the district, associations and hunting grounds, take over existing data and train those responsible.

  4. Step 4

    Season and report

The season is documented as it runs — at the end comes the impact report for the district council and the public.

Want to convince partners in your district?

You are active in an association and would like the district hunting association, the district farmers’ association or the district authority to share the cost? We provide a quote and a briefing paper you can present to them — and, if you like, join you for the presentation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

You’ll find more answers on the FAQ page.

In practical terms, yes. There too, the fields come from official sources — in Austria the field plots from the annual farm subsidy application (Mehrfachantrag), in Switzerland the land-use areas from the agricultural data survey — and municipalities in both countries can be activated as operation areas. Everything else — mowing reports, search lines, GPS proof, drone — isn’t tied to any one country anyway. The only open question is who funds the platform there: so far our model is based on German districts. Get in touch and we’ll work it out for your region.

Yes. Each paying organisation — association, district hunting association or district farmers’ association — sets its own rates. The app suggests the mileage from the journey, and a traffic light keeps an eye on the volunteer allowance limit and the annual budget. At the end of the season there is a SEPA bulk transfer and a DATEV posting batch for the treasurer. Anyone who wishes can donate their amount back and receive a donation receipt.

Yes, on both — on Google Play, and since 19 September on the App Store too. The app is free and ad-free. At your desk, carry on in the browser with the same account.

We are working on it, and it is already flying on the test bench: the platform plans the flight, sends it to the drone and analyses the thermal image while it flies — possible finds appear on the operation map instead of on a computer in the evening. It is not switched on yet, and we are deliberately not giving a date. The pilot remains responsible for the flight in any case; EU drone rules apply unchanged. If you would like to be among the first to fly with it, write to us.

Nothing for farmers, fawn rescuers and hunters. The platform is paid for once per district — usually by an association: a rescue group, the district hunting association or the district farmers’ association, or by the district authority. We agree the annual price with the funding body; trying it out and setting it up cost nothing.

Often, yes. Digitalisation programmes for volunteering (for example from the German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteering or the German federal states), hunting levy funds, local authority grants for associations and regional foundations subsidise software and training for non-profit associations. We are happy to give you a written quote for your application.

With figures and a ready-made quote. We provide a written quote with the annual price and a briefing paper you can present to the board of the district hunting association, the district farmers’ association or the district authority — and, if you like, we will present the platform there in person.

Organise wildlife protection across the whole district

We will present WildRescue to your association, your rescue group or your district authority in person — with no obligation.
